Frequently Asked Questions
What if I enter my name incorrectly? Let us know right away. If your certificate has not been issued, we can correct the name on your enrollment. If the certificate has already been issued with an incorrect name, let us know — do not file an incorrect certificate with the court.
Where do I find my court district? It is printed on all documents you received from the court after filing. Your attorney also has this information. You can also find it using the federal court locator at uscourts.gov/court-locator.
What if I do not know my case number? You cannot enroll without your case number. Your attorney or the bankruptcy court clerk can provide it. If you filed pro se, the court provided your case number when your petition was accepted.
