How Joint Enrollment Works

  • You pay one fee of $19.95, which covers both spouses

  • During enrollment, select "joint filer" and enter information for both spouses: full legal name and last 4 of SSN for each

  • Each spouse completes the course independently — you may both do this at the same time or at separate times

  • One completion certificate is issued covering both spouses, delivered by email promptly after both spouses have completed the course

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we have to complete the course at the same time? No. You may complete the course together in a single session or each complete it at a separate time. The certificate is issued once both of you have finished.

We filed separate petitions, not a joint one. Do we enroll separately? Yes. If you filed separate petitions, each spouse must enroll and pay separately. Each will receive their own individual certificate.

Can my spouse and I use separate devices? Yes. Each spouse can log in and complete the course independently on their own device at a time that suits them.

One of us has already completed the course. When does the certificate get issued? The certificate is issued once both spouses have individually completed the course.
